🕰️ How long is each experience?

• Each room runs approximately 90 minutes, though time can feel... different in The Alley Hotel.

• Please arrive 15-20 minutes early for check-in, waivers, and final warnings. - Failure to arrive early may cut into your experience — the game begins the moment you walk in.
  And trust us... it doesn’t wait.

🎭 What’s the difference between the two rooms?

• • The Guided Tour is a beautifully unsettling, story-driven escape room — guided by our in-room iPad and narrated by the mysterious Story....-  It begins gently, with puzzles and narration pulling you deeper into the hotel's forgotten history… but something chilling lies ahead, and not everything is as it seems.

• • Inside Jack’s Mind is not gentle. It’s unpredictable, aggressive, and disturbingly intimate — a descent into the fractured psyche of a grieving father and the monsters he’s become.

  Think less escape room, more shared hallucination and psychological maze, where nothing is sacred and everything is watching.

🧳 Can we book both?

Yes. It’s called “The Full Stay” for a reason.
If you're brave (or foolish) enough, book both rooms back-to-back for the full story and... full consequences.

👥 How many people can play?

• Each room is designed for 2–6 guests — the perfect number to keep things... intimate.

• Have more than 6? No problem. We love a crowd (Jack especially).
  For larger groups, we can set up a group experience and space the players across the rooms while still keeping you together as part of a shared story.
  Some of your guests may even find themselves... written into it.

🧒 Is it kid-friendly?

Let’s just say… probably not for little ones.

• While it’s not built around constant jump scares, some moments may be startling, and everyone experiences fear a little differently.

• Expect creepy themes, disturbing environments, 

• Jack also doesn’t always use his inside voice — or his inside thoughts.

• We recommend it for ages 14 and up. - Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian brave enough to join them.

🔐 What if we get stuck?

During The Guided Tour, your in-room tablet is there if and when you need it.
It’s designed to give you time to find answers on your own, but it will offer help if you’re truly stuck — like a quiet voice guiding you deeper... or pulling you out.

As for Inside Jack’s Mind — we offer gentle hints throughout the experience... or less gentle ones, depending on Jack’s mood.

If you're truly trapped, the hotel may choose to let you out.
(But no promises.) - but seriously just let the front desk know you want out.. there is also a red panic button in the room

📖 Do I have to follow the iPad during The Guided Tour?

You don’t have to follow it...
But the iPad isn’t just a screen — it’s a voice from within the hotel, and it remembers things you don’t.

It will draw you into the story, keep you on the right path, and whisper when it’s time to move on.
You can ignore it and only use it when you feel stuck… but doing so means you’ll miss the deeper layers — and the experience may feel fractured, like a memory slipping through your hands.

If you want the full immersion… let the voice lead you.

❌ What’s your cancellation policy?

• Cancellations with 48+ hours notice can be rescheduled or refunded.

• Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable — the rooms were already expecting you.

• No-shows may find themselves on our next missing guest flyer.

📜 Do we need to sign a waiver?

Yes. Every guest must sign our release before entry.
You can sign digitally before arrival, or do so on-site. Either way, we’ll need your signature. It’s tradition.

🎥 Can we film inside?

No video, photos, or recordings allowed during the experience —
not because we’re secretive, but because they don’t show up in playback anyway.
