Chapter 2:
The Ringmaster – Heartless
Playtime has begun… there is no exit
Finish the game… or stay forever
Your Adventure Begins… Now
This isn’t just any game—your time starts the second your booked experience begins. Before you ever reach the Alley Hotel lobby, something is already in motion. Every hallway, every shadow, every whisper is part of your story.

Step inside—if you dare…
Step Right Up…
The Ringmaster is waiting.

He’ll greet you with a smile, guide you through the rules, and invite you to play. But make no mistake—these are not his games.

They belong to her.
The Story of Story Jane
Long before the doors of the Alley Hotel ever closed, there was a little girl named Story.

A performer. A dreamer. The star of her father’s traveling show. Every night, he sang the same nursery rhymes she loved more than anything… until one night, she fell.

And the world she knew ended.

She’s Still Here
Now Story exists somewhere in between. Not gone. Not whole. Just… waiting.

So she plays. Over and over again. Repeating the only things she remembers—games, rhymes, rituals—hoping someone will stay and play with her just a little longer.
Her Games
As you move through the hotel, you’ll begin to see what she’s left behind.

A tea party set for dolls… and guests alike.
A séance that listens more than it speaks.
Games that feel familiar… until they don’t.
Hidden spaces shaped by memory, loneliness… and something worse.
Every action is part of her game. Every movement is observed.
The Ringmaster’s Role
The Ringmaster will guide you, watch you, and keep the games moving.

But this is Story’s world.
And she is always there.

What You Must Do
Complete her games.
Follow her patterns.
Finish what she started.

Because Story doesn’t want to hurt you…
She just doesn’t want to be alone.
Your Time Is Limited
This is an up to 80-minute experience, with 60 minutes of gameplay.

Escape… and you may leave.
Fail… and Story might ask you to stay.

Watch Closely…
If you’re lucky, you might spot Jezebel, our oldest ghost roaming the hallways and speakeasy… or even Little Miss Story Jane, who appears when she wants to add a little extra scare.

You never know who might be watching.
