Haunted hotel lullaby
The whispers grow louder tonight. Staff swear they hear a faint lullaby drifting through the halls — soft, yet chilling, like a child calling from the shadows. Some say it’s where the doctor kept his darker experiments; others whisper it’s where Story’s heart was kept — stolen, lost, or perhaps waiting to be reclaimed.
No one dares investigate. Yet, every night, a small pair of ballet slippers appears at the threshold of Room 1187, worn and stained, as if dropped in haste by tiny, invisible feet. The cleaning staff refuse to touch them, calling them “accursed.”
