She didn’t write it: Psychic transference Room 1187

Entry #7
psychic transference Room 1187
Date: 04/09/1965
Location: Nurse’s Quarters, Sublevel B – The Alley Hotel
"That’s what she told them, over and over. But the writing matched her own."
A volunteer nurse, assisting in patient tracking, woke in the sublevel dorms to find three pages pinned to her bunk with a rusty hairpin.
Each page was covered in tight, slanted cursive — the same style she used in her records — but the thoughts were... not hers.
The pages read like a child’s voice — afraid, confused, needing something.
“I’m not supposed to remember but I do.”“They said I was sleeping.”“He’s coming soon. But he left already.”“Please tell him I’m still here.”
The nurse broke down, was removed from staff records the next day. One note in the margin of her file remained unredacted:“Possible psychic transference. Subject sensitive to sublevel exposure. Monitor Room 1187 proximity.”
All we know for sure? These logs survived. And they may be all we have left.
